Prototypes
Test dimensions, fit and function before committing to more expensive manufacturing. Rapid physical prototypes make it easier to spot awkward clearances, improve ergonomics and compare design revisions while changes are still inexpensive.
We turn ideas, sketches and digital models into useful physical parts, prototypes and short production runs. Start by telling us what the part needs to do. We’ll use that to recommend a sensible material, print setup and finish.

Recreate unavailable components and practical workshop or household parts where 3D printing is suitable. We will consider load, heat, environment and safety, and we will say clearly when another manufacturing method or an original replacement part would be more appropriate.
Consistent small-batch printing for businesses, makers, events and product development. We can discuss quantities, repeatability, finishing expectations and whether design changes could reduce material, printing time or post-processing across the batch.
See the detail, support strategy and machine capability behind the service. We review every job around its intended use rather than treating one material or profile as suitable for everything.
An example of 3D bridging.
Detailed finished parts for display and presentation.
Send a model file, drawing, photograph or clear description with dimensions and intended use. Include the quantity, deadline and any surfaces or measurements that are especially important so we can assess the job accurately from the start.
We check the model for printability, discuss orientation and support requirements, recommend an appropriate material and explain the expected price, finish and likely lead time. If a small design adjustment would improve strength or reduce cost, we will flag it before production.
Your job is prepared with settings suited to the material and application, then printed and inspected before dispatch or an agreed handover. For repeat work, agreed details can provide a clearer baseline for future batches.
Delivery is available where appropriate, or we can agree a suitable handover once your order is ready. There is not currently a public Saltash collection point. Packaging and delivery requirements can be included when we prepare the quotation.
We select materials around strength, temperature, flexibility, appearance, environment and budget—not around how impressive the label sounds. PLA, PETG and TPU cover many everyday models and functional parts, while demanding mechanical, abrasive or temperature-sensitive applications deserve a more technical conversation about specialist materials, printer capability and design.
• PLA: detailed models, prototypes and display parts
• PETG: durable functional parts and general use
• TPU: flexible components, grips and protection
• Specialist options: discussed when the application demands them
Typical guide prices: simple parts from £45; standard projects £45–£120; larger or more demanding work £120–£260. Complex work is quoted individually, with volume pricing available for 10+ identical parts.
Need help turning an idea, sketch or sample part into a printable model? We can provide design support or work with a suitable design partner, with any design cost explained separately before work begins.
Request a print quoteSend us the details and we will provide practical advice and a clear quotation. If the design is not ready to print, we will explain the missing information rather than quietly guessing at a result that may not meet the need.
