PRINTS IN MOTION
Watch a print take shape
Some details are easier to understand when you can see the build unfold. These short Layer3D videos show genuine early prints on the Bambu Lab P2S and the practical lessons behind them.

Gold Globe Egg
A curved-form print on the Bambu Lab P2S, showing how surface finish and consistent settings shape the result.

An early two-part functional print exploring curved walls, lid clearance and how the finished pieces work together.
SALTASH SHOWROOM
Compare printers with practical guidance
Layer3D helps customers compare machines, materials and real printed parts before deciding what feels right. Until the showroom opens, contact us online and we will start with your needs, budget and expectations—not a sales specification.
Printer demonstrations coming soon
The future showroom will make it easier to compare print quality and the features that matter in everyday use. For now, ask us online about setup, noise, speed, build volume, material handling and maintenance.
Filament and accessories
Browse useful materials, colours, spares and accessories online, with guidance on compatibility and applications. Compare material characteristics, ask how they behave in practice and choose supplies that suit both the machine and the job.
Friendly expert advice
Bring your questions, ideas or troublesome printer. We will give straightforward advice without sales pressure, explain the trade-offs in plain language and say when a simpler or less expensive route is likely to meet the need just as well.
FOR EVERY STAGE
3D Printing for Makers, Creators and Problem-Solvers
Layer3D supports people who have never touched a printer, experienced users running busy setups and anyone choosing a machine, material or production route. We can discuss the basics or go straight into build volume, workflow, reliability, material behaviour and maintenance.
Useful guidance at any level
New customers can get a plain-English introduction to how 3D printing works by email or text. Experienced users can discuss recurring problems or explore whether a different material, setup or service would improve the result.
3D Printing Advice
Send a file, sketch, failed part or a list of questions. We’ll shape the conversation around what you already know and what you’d like to achieve.

Build a better machine, not simply a more expensive one
Layer3D also supports experienced users choosing premium components. We can discuss the result you are chasing—higher flow, tougher materials, better temperature capability, finer detail or improved reliability—then check whether the upgrade suits the printer and the rest of the setup.
Hotends and extrusion systems
Compare upgrade routes around flow, temperature, weight, maintenance and material use. A faster or more capable hotend only helps when the extruder, motion system, cooling, firmware and intended print profile can support it.
Nozzles and specialist materials
Discuss nozzle diameter, wear resistance, high-temperature use and the practical trade-offs between speed, detail and layer strength. We can help match the component to abrasive, engineering or everyday materials rather than recommending the most costly option by default.
Compatibility before checkout
Premium upgrades may require the correct mount, heater, sensor, wiring, firmware settings or printed parts. Send the printer model and current configuration so we can identify the supporting changes, limitations and installation work before money is committed.
Worth upgrading? Sometimes calibration, maintenance or a smaller component change will deliver the result more sensibly. We will say so when the existing hardware is not the real bottleneck.
